Baltimore Teen Shooter Apprehended by Police

Baltimore, MD – Baltimore Police have apprehended Devonte Lassiter in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old girl during a physical altercation last month. The incident occurred near South Broadway at Thames Street in the Central District on June 8.

Lassiter was taken into custody by Warrant Apprehension Detectives at a residence on the 4300 block of Park Heights Avenue. The arrest was made without incident. Noted as a repeat violent offender, Lassiter has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and is now held at the Central Booking Intake Facility without bail.

The arrest follows intensive investigations into the events leading up to the shooting.
