Daylight Purse Snatching Caught on Camera in D.C.

Washington, DC – In a brazen daylight robbery, a suspect targeted a pedestrian on Thursday at approximately 12:30 p.m., in the 2900 block of 14th Street in Northwest, D.C.

The perpetrator forcefully pushed the victim to the ground and snatched their purse before fleeing the scene.

This incident was captured on a nearby surveillance camera, providing clear footage of the suspect.

Members of the public with information about this individual or the robbery are urged not to approach the suspect but to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by the police department for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person responsible for this crime.
