Former Pennsylania Fire Chief Identified as Victim in Trump Assassination Attempt

BUFFALO TWP, PA – The failed assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania for former President Donald Trump has claimed the life of Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief from Buffalo Township. Comperatore was fatally wounded while heroically shielding his daughter from gunfire.

His sister shared a poignant tribute on Facebook, revealing the depth of their loss. “The PA Trump Rally claimed the life of my brother, Corey Comperatore. The hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most,” she wrote. Describing her brother as a hero, she detailed his final act of protecting his daughter, emphasizing the profound impact of his loss on the family.

His daughter Allyson described her father as “The best dad a girl could ever ask for”.

Comperatore had recently celebrated his 50th birthday, a milestone marking a life tragically cut short. His sister’s message also highlighted the broader consequences of hatred and the enduring power of love. The family is now grappling with a “painful reality” and requests prayers for his wife, daughters, mother, sister, and extended family during this incredibly difficult time.
