Stafford County Woman Wins $250,000 in Virginia Lottery

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – Shevan Collier, a resident of Stafford County, became the lucky winner of $250,000 after playing the Virginia Lottery’s Bank a Million game. Collier purchased her tickets while stopping for gas at Royal Farms on George Washington Highway in Yorktown, selecting the numbers for the May 25 drawing based on family birthdays.

After the draw, Collier confirmed her win through the Virginia Lottery’s mobile app, initially sharing her disbelief with her husband. Utilizing the “Play Your Way” feature, she split her $2 wager into four sets of numbers, striking gold with one set that matched the numbers 2-4-5-12-14-31. The Bonus Ball was 11, but she did not require it to claim her prize.

The win netted her $250,000 post-tax, marking a significant moment celebrated with surprise and excitement.
