Shooting in Prince Frederick Leaves Two Injured

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – Late Sunday evening, Calvert County Patrol Bureau deputies were called to the 1600 block of Mint Court in response to a shooting incident.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 9:41 p.m. and found a middle-aged male with a leg wound and a middle-aged female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The preliminary investigation suggests an unknown assailant fired several rounds into the front of the residence, hitting both victims.

The victims were transported to area trauma centers. The female victim is currently in critical condition, while the male victim is in stable condition. Further updates on the case are pending as the investigation continues.
