Hit-and-Run in Philadelphia Leads to Arrest

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A severe hit-and-run accident occurred at 5800 Chew Avenue in the 14th District, where a 26-year-old female was critically injured. The incident took place at 4:33 PM when the victim was struck by a blue Cadillac while crossing the street.

After the collision, the driver of the Cadillac fled the scene. Emergency services quickly responded, and Medic 18 transported the injured woman to Einstein Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Authorities later located the striking vehicle at 5600 Sprague Street. The female driver of the Cadillac was taken into police custody. The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
