Robbery on Northbound “A” Train Near Broad Channel Station

NEW YORK, NY – A 20-year-old man was robbed aboard a northbound “A” train as it approached the Broad Channel subway station on Monday, July 15. The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 PM.

An unidentified assailant threatened the young man with force before forcibly removing his necklace. After committing the robbery, the suspect fled the subway station. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the encounter.

The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward to help with the ongoing investigation.
