Truck Gets Stuck Under Brooke Road Bridge

Stafford County, VA — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office announced that Andrew Chapel Road has reopened following an incident where an oversized truck got stuck under the bridge on Tuesday.

The roadway was closed at Brooke Road due to a truck becoming wedged in the underpass. The public was advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes. The incident was resolved, and the road is now open for traffic.

The bridge is clearly identified as a low bridge with an 11’6″ clearance.
