Elderly Woman Assaulted in Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY – An 89-year-old woman was assaulted on Wednesday morning near Seventh Avenue and West 11th Street. The assailant, described only as a female with a medium complexion and cornrow braids, punched the elderly victim in the right eye.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:50 AM, causing the victim to fall to the ground. The attacker subsequently fled westbound on Bank Street. The victim suffered facial swelling and redness and was transported to Lenox Hill Greenwich Village in stable condition.

The suspect was last observed wearing a red and black tank top with a Jurassic Park logo, white and black shorts also adorned with the Jurassic Park logo, black socks, and white and gray sneakers. Police are actively seeking the individual responsible for this attack.
