Montgomery County Police Break Up Illegal Car Meet-Up

BURTONSVILLE, MD – Montgomery County Police officers from the 3rd District Station implemented a traffic enforcement operation early Saturday to deter an illegal car meet-up featuring exhibition driving in Burtonsville.

Authorities encountered a large assembly of vehicles on Sandy Spring Road engaged in reckless driving behaviors. Officers intensified their presence and initiated targeted enforcement measures, effectively dispersing the group from the area.

This proactive intervention by the police helped avert possible accidents and injuries. Montgomery County Police have affirmed their commitment to collaborate with regional partners to combat unsafe driving practices and enforce accountability within the community.
