Jackson All-Stars 8u Edges Out Sunnybrae 8u in Pitcher’s Duel

Jackson, NJ — The Jackson All-Stars 8u team triumphed over the Sunnybrae 8u All Stars in a closely contested game on Saturday, finishing with a score of 3-2. Both teams showcased strong pitching performances.

Jackson All-Stars took an early lead in the first inning. Noah Z’s single brought in one run, followed by Nicholas H’s double that drove in two more.

Nicholas H, who started the game for Jackson, pitched three innings, allowing one hit and no runs while striking out five and walking none. Gray F took the mound first for Sunnybrae, giving up six hits and three runs over three innings, with six strikeouts and one walk. Noah Z secured the save for Jackson.

Leading the offense for Jackson, Nicholas H contributed significantly with two RBIs and went 1-for-2. Aiden B also had a standout performance, going 3-for-3. Defensively, Jackson was flawless with Tyler K making seven plays.

Sunnybrae’s hitters included Jayden B, Grayson R, Ethan S, Colin K, and Hudson D, each recording a hit. Jayden B and Colin K each drove in a run. Sunnybrae also displayed strong defensive skills, with Bryce B making ten plays without any errors.
