Teenager Shot in Leg in Syracuse’s Skunk City Neighborhood

SYRACUSE, NY – A 16-year-old boy was injured in a shooting incident in Syracuse’s Skunk City neighborhood on Sunday morning, according to local police.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Bradley Street at approximately 10:16 AM following reports of a shooting. Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department, confirmed that upon arrival, officers located the teenage victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The injured boy was promptly transported to Upstate University Hospital where he received treatment in the emergency room. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation, and further details have not yet been released.
