D.C. Police Arrest Suspect in Triple Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a triple shooting in Southeast Washington.

On Tuesday at approximately 2:32 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a shooting report in the 2900 block of Nelson Place, Southeast. They found three women with apparent gunshot wounds, all of whom were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Following an investigation, detectives arrested a 16-year-old male from Southeast and charged him with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
