Drug Bust in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD—A significant drug and weapons bust unfolded in Glen Burnie on the evening of Friday. Police detained two men after observing one with a handgun near Silent Winds Court and Silent Breeze Court around 9:05 PM. The suspect attempted to escape into a nearby wooded area but was later seen exiting with a second individual, and both began placing items into a gray Honda Civic.

Upon detaining the suspects, police confiscated a .22 caliber handgun, 209 grams of suspected cannabis, and a digital scale with traces of suspected cocaine from the vehicle. The initial suspect was arrested and charged following the discovery.
