BPD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Roxbury Armed Robbery

BOSTON, Mass. — Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, July 22, 2024, at approximately 7:40 a.m. in the vicinity of 218 Blue Hill Avenue.

A group of seven individuals assaulted the victim, causing non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects stole the victim’s purse, which contained credit cards, money, house keys, and two cell phones.

One suspect is described as a light-skinned female with a grey/black wig, wearing all black clothing. Another suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a Celtics hoodie.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating this incident and reviewing the facts and circumstances. Anyone with information is urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
