Fugitive Sought in Brick Bank Robbery

BRICK, N.J. — On Wednesday, July 24, at approximately 12:15 p.m., police responded to a reported bank robbery at Santander Bank, located at 17 Beaverson Boulevard, between Brick Boulevard and Beaverson Boulevard.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank, demanded money from the teller, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No weapon was displayed during the incident.

The suspect concealed their identity with a white face mask and an umbrella.

They were last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black athletic joggers, white athletic shoes, a black backpack, and lime green work gloves. The suspect fled westward on Beaverson Boulevard.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Detective Schinder at 732-262-1115 or Detective Farnkopf at 732-262-4611 of the Brick Township Police Department. The investigation is ongoing, and there is currently no threat to the general public.
