Two Charged in Connection to Murder in Clairton

CLAIRTON, Pa. — The Allegheny County Police Department has charged two individuals in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man in Clairton.

On July 12 at 10:12 p.m., county emergency services were notified of a shooting in the 900 block of Madison Avenue. First responders arrived to find Terell Blanks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Blanks was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clairton Police requested assistance from the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, which launched an investigation. Through witness interviews and surveillance footage, detectives identified 27-year-old Thomas Walker V of North Braddock as the shooter.

Additionally, 25-year-old Ciara Clifton of McKeesport was implicated in the homicide.

Walker faces charges including criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy, and carrying a firearm without a license. Clifton has been charged with one felony count of criminal conspiracy.

Both suspects were apprehended on July 25 and are currently held at the Allegheny County Jail pending preliminary arraignment.
