Haverstraw Police Announce Arrest in July 1st Murder Case

Haverstraw, NY — The Haverstraw Police Department has announced the arrest of Yandie Martinez in connection with the July 1 homicide on West Street in the Village of Haverstraw.

Martinez was apprehended at 1:20 p.m. in Piedmont, South Carolina, through a collaborative effort involving the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Special Investigations Team (FASIT), the FBI-Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, and the FBI-Columbia Division.
