Man in Cast Sought in Bronx Moped Based Robbery

Bronx, NY — A moped theft occurred on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at approximately 3:35 p.m. at the intersection of East 167 Street and Sheridan Avenue. Police reports indicate that a 29-year-old man was approached by two unidentified males, leading to a physical altercation.

During the incident, the assailants forcibly took the victim’s moped, valued at around $900, and were last seen fleeing eastbound on 167 Street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as males with medium complexions. Notably, one of the individuals was seen with a cast on his left arm. Authorities are seeking any information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the individuals involved.
