Columbia Mall Teen Shooting Victim Identified, No Suspects

COLUMBIA, MD – Howard County police have updated their ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting at Columbia Mall, identifying the victim as 17-year-old Angelo Little from Columbia.

The incident occurred near the food court at approximately 6:10 PM on Friday, July 27.

Upon receiving reports of gunfire, officers swiftly responded to the scene where they discovered Little deceased. Initial findings suggest that the victim was specifically targeted, though the suspect had fled the mall immediately after the shooting.

Police had evacuated the mall completely by 9:00 PM and assured the public that there is no ongoing threat.

As the investigation continues, authorities are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
