Early Morning Shooting in Kensington Leaves Man Critically Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A shooting in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood has left a man critically injured after being shot early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of 2nd and Cambria streets.

Upon arrival, Philadelphia police discovered the victim with gunshot wounds to his stomach and thigh. He was quickly transported to the hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.

During the investigation at the scene, police arrested a man found in possession of a gun. It remains uncertain whether this individual was directly involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to this violent incident.
