Shooting Incident on Randall’s Island Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

New York, NY – Early Monday morning, police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at Randall’s Island, Field 71, within the confines of the 25th Precinct.

Upon arrival at approximately 3:30 AM, officers found three victims with gunshot wounds. A 44-year-old female had sustained gunshot wounds to the face and back and was transported to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. A 32-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the throat and a 31-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the back were also taken to Harlem Hospital and are in stable condition.

The identity of the deceased woman is pending proper family notification. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
