South River Man Indicted for Sexual Assaults Against Children

FREEHOLD, NJ — A Monmouth County Grand Jury has indicted Robert L. Wisiak, 45, of South River, on two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault involving minors. The indictment, announced by Monmouth County First Assistant Prosecutor Julia Alonso, pertains to assaults that occurred over two decades ago against two individuals who were under 13 at the time.

Wisiak was initially arrested by the Keansburg Police Department on Friday, October 20, 2023. The charges relate to a series of assaults that occurred between 1999 and 2001. Following the arrest announcement, a second victim reported similar experiences during the same period.

The ongoing investigation seeks further details about Wisiak’s actions during the mentioned timeframe.
