Record Turnout at Wildwoods’ Baby Waddle Contest

THE WILDWOODS, NJ – The Wildwoods Loves Waddlers Baby Waddle Contest held on July 30, 2024, witnessed its highest participation yet, with over 50 infants 24 months and younger showcasing their crawling and waddling talents. This year’s event proved to be the most thrilling and competitive iteration to date.

The contest featured two segments: The Crawl and The Waddle. Babies were placed in the middle of a vibrant 45-foot-diameter circle and cheered on by their parents to move toward the perimeter. Winners in each category were the first to exit the circle, with prizes including a family four-pack to Morey’s Amusement Piers and Water Parks.

Celebrating their victories were Harrison Giannantonio, 21 months old, from Glassboro, NJ, who triumphed in The Waddle, and Evelyn Callahan, 1 year old, from Columbus, NJ, who won The Crawl.

This beloved annual event acts as a delightful precursor to the Wildwoods Baby Parade, scheduled for July 31 on the Wildwoods Boardwalk. For those interested, registration for the parade remains open at www.facebook.com/wildwoodsbabyparade.
