Violent Stabbing Claims One Life in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – Police were dispatched to a stabbing incident at 2448 University Avenue, within the 52nd Precinct, following a 911 call received at 1:37 PM on Wednesday. Officers discovered a 34-year-old male suffering from a chest stab wound upon their arrival at the scene.

The injured man was quickly transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital by emergency medical services. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities have not made any arrests related to this incident, and the investigation is actively ongoing.

The identity of the deceased has not been released, as officials are in the process of notifying his family.
