Assault and Attempted Robbery Suspects Caugh On Camera in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying four suspects involved in an attempted robbery in Northwest Washington early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 2:34 a.m. on July 30, a male victim was standing in the 1100 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest, when a suspect pulled him into the street while other suspects surrounded him. One suspect demanded money and searched the victim’s pocket. The group then assaulted the victim before fleeing with his property. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical treatment.

The suspects were captured on surveillance camera.
