President Biden Asks Why Trump Didn’t Free Hostages Detained During Biden Presidency

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a press conference regarding freed American hostages in Russia, President Joe Biden questioned former President Donald Trump’s assertions about securing the release of hostages without concessions.

Trump had claimed that if was president, he wouldn’t have made concessions to Russia in exchange for the prisoners, including a New York Times Journalist.

Trump has repeatedly stated he could have freed the hostages without any exchange.

Responding to these claims, Biden pointedly asked, “Why didn’t he do it when he was president?”

It is important to note that two of the three Americans discussed were wrongfully detained during Biden’s presidency, underscoring the ongoing challenges in securing their release.
