77-Year-Old Man Among Two Shot in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY—A violent incident unfolded this morning at approximately 11:10 AM at a commercial business located at 8702 Avenue L, where an unidentified male opened fire.

A 77-year-old male and a 23-year-old male were wounded in the leg and arm/abdomen, respectively. Emergency services responded promptly, transporting both victims to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition.

The shooter, described as having a dark complexion, was last observed wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with white strings, light-colored sweatpants, and light-colored sneakers.

He fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle heading eastbound on Avenue L. Police are actively seeking the suspect and are requesting the public’s help in locating him.
