Search Intensifies for Gunman in Southwest D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the early hours of July 1, police were called to the 100 block of District Square, Southwest, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The incident, which occurred around 1:20 a.m., resulted in the victim being rushed to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, captured on nearby surveillance cameras, is now the focus of a police manhunt. The Metropolitan Police Department is appealing to anyone who can identify this individual or has information about the incident to come forward. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for details leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this violent crime.
