Urgent Search for Missing 71-Year-Old Man in Newark

The Newark Department of Public Safety is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating 71-year-old Errol Bryan, who was reported missing today.

Mr. Bryan, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, was last seen on Friday at 11:45 p.m. near the 100 block of Pomona Avenue.

Described as having a medium brown complexion, Mr. Bryan is approximately 5’6″ tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, gray hair, and a gray beard. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white shirt and a diaper. He is known to respond to his nickname, “Poppie.”

Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is calling on anyone with information regarding Mr. Bryan’s whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).

All tips provided through this line are confidential, and informants may be eligible for a reward. The community’s swift cooperation is crucial in ensuring Mr. Bryan’s safe return.
