Utica Man Charged in Connection with Late-Night Shooting

UTICA, NY—A late-night investigation into shots fired in Utica has led to the arrest of 46-year-old Kenneth Glover. Utica Police responded to reports of gunfire on Faxton Street around 1:30 AM on June 29th, where they discovered multiple spent shell casings outside a residence.

Though no injuries were reported, the case was swiftly handled by the GIVE Unit of the Utica Police, who through their investigation, identified Glover as the suspect. Sufficient evidence was gathered to establish probable cause for his arrest.

Glover now faces serious charges including criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and criminal possession of a firearm. The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to address gun violence in the community.
