Calvert County Deputies Celebrate Local Girls’ Lemonade Stand Heroes

CALVERT COUNTY, MD – In a delightful twist to the day’s duties, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a “lemonade party in progress” at a stand run by young entrepreneurs in Oakland Hall.

Deputies DFC Idol, DFC Lewis, and Cpl. Kelly responded to the cheerful event, where they were greeted with sweet treats and refreshing lemonade.

The Sheriff’s Office took to social media to give a big shoutout to these miniature moguls, praising them for keeping the officers refreshed and ready for their tasks.

The post encouraged the community to “Stay cool out there,” recognizing the lemonade operators as the day’s real heroes. This light-hearted interaction highlights the department’s appreciation for the community’s youngest members and their entrepreneurial spirit.
