Handgun and Drugs Seized in Baltimore District Arrest

BALTIMORE, MD — A man was arrested in the Northern District for suspected drug dealing and possession of a firearm on August 2.

At approximately 4:36 a.m., CWET detectives conducting robbery prevention efforts in the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue observed a 35-year-old male suspect dealing suspected controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

Upon approaching the suspect, officers discovered a loaded Rossi .38 special handgun, 61 vials of suspected cocaine, and 23 gel caps of suspected heroin in his vehicle. The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.
