Reading’s National Night Out Rescheduled Due to Weather

Reading, PA – The City of Reading has announced the rescheduling of its National Night Out event to Wednesday, August 14, 2024, due to expected inclement weather.

The community gathering, aimed at enhancing the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement, will now take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Penn Street.

Residents who wish to participate in the rescheduled event should contact Sandy Sanchez at sandy.sanchez@readingpa.gov. Those who had already signed up for the original date will be contacted directly via email, phone, or text to confirm their participation.
