Annapolis Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A vehicle linked to a recent shooting was intercepted by Annapolis Police on Monday. The vehicle was spotted and halted on Tyler Ave, where the driver, Wayne Darnell Creek, was found with a silver Kimber 1911 .45 caliber handgun. Born on November 4, 2002, Creek was arrested, charged, and transported to the Anne Arundel County detention center.

In another incident on Monday, a 2024 Grey Audi Q7 was reported stolen from a driveway on Spa Rd. The vehicle, equipped with a GPS tracker, was later located by the owner’s husband on Gemini Dr. at Hilltop Ln.

Additionally, a shoplifting event occurred at the Safeway Supermarket on Forest Dr, where Javonne Marshall Jackson was arrested after a brief chase. Jackson, suspected of stealing items worth $62.01, was caught and the items were returned to Safeway.

A similar theft was reported at the Walgreens on Bay Ridge Ave, where an unidentified man stole pharmaceutical products. Despite a search, the suspect remains at large.

A 2015 White Jaguar XF was also reported stolen from Bywater Rd. at Belle Dr. on Monday. The car, valued at $15,000, was parked on 08/04 and found missing on 08/06 at 11 AM.
