ELDERSBURG, MD—A Baltimore resident has claimed a $540,000 jackpot from the Multi-Match draw on August 1, after purchasing a $2 quick-pick ticket on July 31. The winning ticket was bought at the Sunoco gas station located at 1400 Liberty Road in Eldersburg. This marks the sixth Multi-Match jackpot won in Maryland this year.

The Sunoco retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket. Previous jackpots this year ranged between $500,000 and $2.1 million, highlighting the lucrative opportunities the game presents.

Multi-Match, exclusive to Maryland since 2006, requires players to match all six numbers on any one of three lines per ticket to win the jackpot. Drawings are held twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 2 million, with overall odds of winning any prize standing at 1 in 8.5.
