Elderly Woman Assaulted in Bronx Incident

NEW YORK, NY—An 82-year-old woman was brutally attacked by two individuals on Friday evening at the intersection of E 212 Street and White Plains Road. The assault occurred at approximately 7:05 PM when the victim was punched, slammed to the ground, and repeatedly stomped on. Following the attack, the assailants fled eastbound on E 212 Street toward Holland Avenue.

Emergency services responded promptly, transporting the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was listed in stable condition. The first suspect involved in the attack is a male with a medium build and dark complexion, last seen wearing a white polo shirt, blue shorts, and grey and black sneakers.

The second suspect, a female with a medium build and medium complexion, was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers, and was carrying a black cross-body bag. Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to come forward to assist with the investigation.
