Two Suspects Arrested for Attempted Murder in Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore police have arrested two men in connection with a shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on July 5, 2024.

Ryan Joy, 23, and Christopher Correlli, 21, both from Baltimore, have been charged with the attempted first-degree murder of a 52-year-old man who was shot in the 1800 block of Aiken Street. The incident took place at approximately 2:04 a.m., and the victim was found by patrol officers suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The arrests were made on August 7, and both suspects were taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Detectives identified Correlli and Joy as the individuals responsible for the shooting following a thorough investigation.
