Cumberland Police Arrest Man for Tampering with Vehicles

CUMBERLAND, MD—On Friday, Joshua Michael D’Atri was arrested after being accused of attempting to tamper with multiple vehicles on Dorn Avenue. The Cumberland Police Department reported responding to a call regarding a suspicious male on the scene.

Witnesses and the vehicle owner reported that D’Atri was trying to gain access to several cars. He was found inside a vehicle without the owner’s permission. Following his arrest, D’Atri was transported to central booking.

After an appearance before a District Court Commissioner, D’Atri was released on a $2,500 unsecured personal bond. He faces charges of rogue and vagabond. D’Atri, a 43-year-old resident of Cumberland, MD, has not commented on the charges.
