Teen Boy Stabbed During Altercation by Man on Coney Island Avenue

BROOKLYN, NY—A 17-year-old male was stabbed once in the stomach following a verbal altercation on Wednesday. The incident occurred in front of 1372 Coney Island Avenue at approximately 4:14 PM. After the dispute, the assailant, who remains unidentified, revealed a knife and attacked the victim.

The suspect, described as a 50-year-old male with a dark complexion and a gray beard, fled the scene on foot heading north on Coney Island Avenue. He was last observed wearing a blue hat. Emergency Medical Services responded promptly, transporting the victim to Maimonides Medical Center where he is reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities are actively seeking the assailant and urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
