Barricaded Suspect in Philadelphia: U.S. Marshals Respond to Homicide Suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A critical situation has unfolded in Philadelphia where a 64-year-old Black male, wanted for homicide, has barricaded himself inside a residence. The standoff began at 9:50 AM at a home located at 69xx Old York Road.

U.S. Marshals were alerted to the suspect’s presence, who is reported to have pointed a firearm toward the highway. Following this information, the 35th District declared the barricade situation. A staging area has been established at 1200 69th Avenue as law enforcement responds.
