Governor Hochul Poses In Front of Storm Damaged Home for Press Conference

CANISTEO, NY – Over the weekend, New York State Police members joined Governor Kathy Hochul in the Village of Canisteo to survey the aftermath of Hurricane Debby and assist affected homeowners.

Major Miklos Szoczei of Troop E highlighted the ongoing efforts to monitor weather conditions and stated that additional personnel would be deployed as necessary.

The State Police have prepared specialized vehicles for rapid response, including four-wheel drive vehicles, utility task vehicles, and boats, ensuring they are ready to address any further impacts from the weather.

This proactive approach aims to provide immediate assistance to the residents of Canisteo and surrounding areas during this critical time.
