Suspect in Stowe Township Fatal Shooting Flees Police

STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA – A man was fatally shot in Stowe Township, leading to a response from local law enforcement to find the shooter.

The incident was reported to County 911 at around 3:19 p.m. on Sunday in the 400 block of Pleasant Ridge Road.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered the victim with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The suspect was believed to have fled into a nearby residence, prompting the involvement of SWAT teams. However, the suspect was not found inside the residence.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is now spearheading the investigation. Early reports suggest that the shooting occurred following an argument outside. Detectives continue to gather evidence and investigate the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident.
