Police Investigate Shooting Damage to Vehicle in Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK, MD—Northern District detectives are currently investigating an incident involving a 2010 Dodge Ram that sustained windshield damage due to a fired projectile. The damage was reported on August 13, 2024, around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Upland Road and Cedar Hill Road in Brooklyn Park.

Officers who responded to the scene confirmed that the damage to the vehicle’s windshield was caused by a projectile fired sometime between August 11 and August 13, 2024. The incident did not result in any physical injuries but highlighted concerns over public safety and property damage in the area.
