Teen Arrested for Handgun Violation in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Officers from the Southwest District Action Team arrested a 17-year-old male for a handgun violation early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:47 a.m. in the 900 block of South Caton Avenue. While speaking with the teenager, officers observed a handgun fall from his waistband to his ankle.

The officers arrested the suspect without incident and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged as an adult.
