Water Main Break Leads to Road Closure in Clarkstown

Clarkstown, NY — A significant water main break near Old Mill Road has resulted in road closures and disruptions to the water supply in several areas of Clarkstown. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 AM near the Veolia Plant at #55 Old Mill Road.

The 24-inch water main services the communities of Bardonia, West Nyack, New City, and part of Nanuet. Residents in these areas are expected to experience a disruption in their water supply for at least six hours from 2:00 AM.

Authorities have closed Old Mill Road due to flooding and are advising the public to avoid the area and follow detours. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
