$25K Reward Offered in Case of 10-Year-Old Shot in His Salisbury Home

SALISBURY, MD — Maryland State Police (MSP) are urging the community to assist in the investigation of a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 10-year-old Tyron Colbert in Salisbury on August 5.

The tragic incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when shots were fired into a home on the 200 block of Clayton Street. Tyron, who was inside with his mother and two siblings, was struck by the gunfire and later died at the hospital.

Despite ongoing efforts, investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting. Authorities have increased the reward to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
