Police Seek Suspect in Astoria Burglary

ASTORIA, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred early Saturday morning at a commercial establishment on 31st Street in Astoria.

According to police reports, at approximately 3:11 a.m. on July 20, 2024, an unidentified individual entered the establishment located at 34-39 31st Street through an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect removed several bottles of alcohol from the bar area and took $500 in cash from the register. The individual then fled the scene, heading northbound on 31st Street.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a shirt, white and black shorts, a green headband, and black Crocs.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the NYPD.
