Baltimore Police Arrest 14-Year-Old in Southeast District Armed Robbery

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 14-year-old male was arrested on Thursday afternoon in connection with an armed robbery in Baltimore’s Southeast District. The incident occurred on August 15, 2024, at approximately 12:08 p.m. in the 500 block of North Highland Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene after receiving a call about an armed robbery. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, who reported being robbed by three unidentified males. Acting quickly, officers canvassed the area and located three males matching the description provided by the victim.

A street identification process was conducted, during which the victim positively identified one of the suspects. The identified suspect, a 14-year-old male, was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center for processing. The other two males were released, as the victim was unable to identify them.

The Baltimore Police Department continues to prioritize the safety of the community and encourages anyone with further information on the incident to come forward.
