Baltimore Police Arrest 15-Year-Old on Handgun and Drug Charges in Western District

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 15-year-old male was arrested on Thursday afternoon in the Western District of Baltimore for handgun and drug-related offenses. The arrest took place at approximately 1:40 p.m. on August 15, 2024, in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Western District officers were conducting an investigation in the area when they observed the juvenile displaying behaviors consistent with an armed individual. After stopping the suspect, officers conducted a brief investigation and discovered a loaded handgun along with controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

The 15-year-old was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where he was charged with firearm and drug-related offenses. The Baltimore Police Department continues its efforts to address illegal gun possession and drug activity in the community.
